Title: El Pla d'Acollida de Centre : una proposta intercultural del tractament a la diversitat

Abstract: The project compiles assessment work to primary school centers regarding the elaboration of the welcoming plan. The assessment had a twofold aim: to provide the centre with a tool that would enable it to systematize and provide coherence and continuity to the doubts or concerns caused by this situation. The theoretical base is twofold: the constructivist focus of psycho-pedagogical assessment and the perspective of interculturalism, seeing the socializing, interactive and harmonizing aspect of the Welcoming Plan, and the social and systemic consideration of both referents. The methodology used was qualitative, namely the investigation-action, as it is a type of assessment oriented to action and based on practice, with the aim of enabling teachers to improve this practice. It compiles organizational aspects -enrollment, ascription to the course, welcoming and relation between the family and the centre, language, internal resources and external supports and classroom co-ordination and strategies -welcoming, organization and workings of the classroom, planning of schooling and activities. Aspects referring to the curriculum and to cooperation with the environment were left to be dealt with later.
