Abstract: Template turnover represents the proportion of people who have left the organization among the total workforce. The repercussion of this fact generates a serious impact on the overall performance of companies, reducing their productivity and causing higher costs. It is increasingly difficult to retain talent and, especially, in positions of low responsibility and low autonomy. The goal of this study is to identify and analyze how the variables autonomy, career plan and age affect the cashier turnover in Vegalsa-Eroski. The methodology used for this was the application of a survey, consisting of 3 questionnaires - adapted and updated questionnaire by Hackman and Oldham (1975), Kyndt's Job Retention questionnaire (2009) and Roodt's Intention of Labor Rotation questionnaire (2008) - on a sample made up of 108 participants, current occupants of the cashier station located in different centers, which bring together the typical characteristics on which the commercial network is formed. In adittion, an evolutionary analysis has been carried out on real data to investigate the incidence, by age brackets, of historical turnover in this group. The results obtained show a significant negative correlation between the turnover intention and the career projection, in addition to observing a slight, non-significant negative correlation between variables like the autonomy and turnover. On the other hand, the evolutionary analysis has made it possible to distinguish a greater propensity to abandon the youngest staff, under 35 years of age, compared to the rest of the sections analyzed. Future lines of research could be aimed at analyzing the impact of leadership style in this type of positions.
