Abstract: The Final Degree Project (FDP) of this dissertation describes the design, development and testing processes of a video game for the PC / MAC platform, within the Survival and Randomized Sandbox genre, with RogueLike and RPG elements. The purpose of this FDP has been to experiment with a large number of common systems in video games, as well as discover and experiment with many of the typical stages that are part of the creation of a video game (planning, conceptualization, programming, testing, documentation, etc.). Due to the project nature and the time constraints of itself, some parts of the process of developing and marketing a video game have not been worked as would be done in a real project (graphic design, sounds, music, marketing, advertising, language localization, etc.). The experimentation and development of different systems has been given more priority than the elaboration of a well-refined and aesthetically appropriate final product. The project creation process has been: Firstly, video game conceptualization work, followed by planning. Then choose the most appropriate development engine and programming language, as well as the graphics and sound editing tools to use. Finally, follow a looping process of design, programming, testing and improvement of the different systems and the integration between themselves. The result is a video game that still requires a lot of debugging and expansion to be published, but it has allowed me to do a lot of experimentation and learning. This whole process has given me great satisfaction and a desire to continue evolving the video game in the future.
