Abstract

Estar presente en las redes no es suficiente para poder llegar mejor a los usuarios, es necesario analizar las diferentes ventajas que puede aportar tener presencia en Internet para poder potenciar al máximo los recursos que se dispone. Se ha realizado un rediseño general del sitio web considerando cuestiones de diseño gráfico, modernizando su estética y usabilidad, llegando al usuario de una manera más clara que pueda proporcionar un sitio web más atractivo, organizado y profesional. A lo largo de este proyecto, no solo se han considerado cuestiones de diseño, también se ha querido profundizar en el estudio de la restauración de coches clásicos, en el análisis del rendimiento web del sitio y su optimización en los motores de búsqueda. Para evaluar el tráfico web, se ha utilizado Google Analytics entre otras herramientas para conocer el estado y evolución del sitio mediante sus métricas. Para poder llevar a cabo estos puntos, se ha desarrollado el diseño de unas plantillas mediante el CMS Joomla! donde está actualmente alojado el sitio web y unos prototipos Hi-Fi. Se han trabajado los diferentes aspectos anteriormente mencionados y se han adaptado a los diferentes formatos creando unas plantillas responsive fáciles de implementar sin la necesidad de tener nociones de programación.

Estar present a les xarxes no és suficient per poder arribar millor als usuaris, cal analitzar els diferents avantatges que pot aportar tenir presència a Internet per poder potenciar el màxim els recursos que es disposa. S'ha realitzat un redisseny general del lloc web considerant qüestions de disseny gràfic, modernitzant la seva estètica i usabilitat, arribant a l'usuari d'una manera més clara que pugui proporcionar un lloc web més atractiu, organitzat i professional. Al llarg d'aquest projecte, no només s'han considerat qüestions de disseny, també s'ha volgut aprofundir en l'estudi de la restauració de cotxes clàssics, en l'anàlisi de l'rendiment web de el lloc i la seva optimització en els motors de cerca. Per avaluar el trànsit web, s'ha utilitzat Google Analytics entre altres eines per conèixer l'estat i evolució del lloc mitjançant les seves mètriques. Per poder dur a terme aquests punts, s'ha desenvolupat el disseny d'unes plantilles mitjançant el CMS Joomla! on està actualment allotjat el lloc web i uns prototips Hi-Fi. S'han treballat els diferents aspectes anteriorment esmentats i s'han adaptat als diferents formats creant unes plantilles responsive fàcils d'implementar sense la necessitat de tenir nocions de programació.

Simply being present on the web is not sufficient to reach users; it is necessary to analyse the advantages web presence can bring to be able to maximise the effects of available resource. A general redesign of the website has been carried out with a focus on presentation, updating the aesthetic and usability, conveying information to the visitor in a more clear and concise manner as well as improving the structure and organisation of tiered pages to present a more polished and professional deliverable. The project has also investigated other focus areas to support the website redesign. This has involved study of the classic car industry, both from a sales and restoration perspective, analysis of the web performance of the site and search engine optimisation. Google Analytics, among other tools, has been used to evaluate web traffic and monitor the status and development of the site through its metrics. To achieve these proposed improvements a number of templates have been developed using the CMS Joomla! where the website and some Hi-Fi prototypes are currently hosted. The different focus areas mentioned above have been worked on and adapted to the different formats creating responsive templates that are easy to implement without the need to have knowledge of web page programming.
