Title: Análisis del modelo de Destinos Turísticos Inteligentes para la gestión de destinos turísticos emergentes: Caso Colombia
Author: CORREA ALVARADO, NARDELLY JULIETH
Tutor: GINER SANCHEZ, DAVID
Abstract: Due to its particularities, tourism activity is in a constant process of updating, from the products and services offered, to the particular relationships of the actors and physical elements that comprise it. The result of this has been the lack of flexibility of management models that do not present a comprehensiveness in the elements to be taken into account in destinations and facilitate their adaptation. Positioned destinations have advanced different initiatives in the search to improve said management through the implementation of the model of Smart Tourist Destinations- STD. This document seeks to publicize the main elements to take into account to understand the DTI philosophy through interviews with experts, surveys and consultation of secondary sources, in the search for establishing base elements for the adaptation of this model to emerging tourist destinations.
