El inicio del fin de una etapa: La jubilación

Abstract

En este ensayo hemos realizado un recorrido crítico sobre la situación actual de lapoblación que se aproxima a la jubilación atendiendo a los principales actores deeste proceso: individuos, organización y gobierno. Para cada uno, se han analizadolos aspectos que se establecen como más influyentes en el tránsito hacia esta nue-va etapa en relación a las medidas existentes en el proceso de jubilación. Si bien laliteratura existente respecto a este fenómeno ha permitido dar luz a algunas cues-tiones, es necesario que individuos, organizaciones y gobierno tengan una mayorimplicación en el tránsito hacia la jubilación. Por el momento, tanto iniciativasempresariales, como administrativas y/o estudios académicos, quedan alejados delas demandas (prácticas) que requiere la última etapa de la vida laboral activa. Lasreflexiones derivadas de este ensayo permiten plantear futuras líneas de investiga-ción que mejoren el tránsito hacia la jubilación.

In this essay we have carried out a critical tour on the current situation of thepopulation that is approaching retirement, attending to the main actors in thisprocess: individuals, organization and government. For each one, the aspects thatare established as most influential in the transition to this new stage in relation tothe existing measures in the retirement process have been analyzed. While the ex-isting literature on this phenomenon has shed light on some issues, there is a needfor greater involvement of individuals, organisations and government in the tran-sition to retirement. For the moment, both business initiatives, administrativeand/or academic studies, are far from the demands (practices) required by the laststage of active working life. The reflections derived from this essay allow us topropose future lines of research that improve the transition to retirement.
