Abstract

El ciclisme és una de les activitats a l’aire lliure que ha vist incrementada la seva popularitat en els darrers anys i, amb l’objectiu de seguir cobrint les necessitats que poden sorgir dins d’aquest col·lectiu, s’ha desenvolupat l’eina (amb forma de web) Ride Sweetly. Basant-nos en la predicció meteorològica en uns llocs determinats, obtinguda gràcies a les API de Google Maps i OpenWeather, accedim a un inventari que ha registrat prèviament l’usuari. Dins aquest inventari, trobem diferents tipus de peces de roba i complements per a ciclistes amb uns rangs de temperatures associats. Comparant la informació obtinguda de la previsió i la disponible a l’inventari de l’usuari, l’aplicació rastreja i selecciona les peces de roba i complements més adients, sempre segons la tipologia i rang de temperatures disponibles, amb l’objectiu d’oferir la millor proposta de vestimenta ciclista. Tot això a través d’una autenticació d’usuari, amb la finalitat de poder disposar d’un inventari personalitzat i completament editable per a cadascun d’aquests.

Cycling is an outdoor activity that has increase its popularity during the last years and, with the purpose of continue covering the needs that could appear into this group of people, we launch the tool (as a website) Ride Sweetly. Based on weather forecast of specific places that we can get using Google Maps and Open Weather APIs, we access an inventory that users have previously registered on their profile. In this inventory, we find all kind of cycling clothes and complements with a range of temperatures linked to each item. Comparing the data that we get from weather forecast with the data in the user's inventory, the app scan and select, considering type of clothing, the available items matching with temperature's range. The unique purpose is to show the best cycling outfit to the user. We are going to do all we mentioned before through user's authentication. This way, we are going to offer a personal and fully editable inventory to each user.
