Abstract: In the current educational context, work-related stress and emotional exhaustion experienced by teachers is a growing concern. Therefore, this research aims to examine Teacher Burnout Syndrome and its potential association with Tutorial Action in Secondary Education. To assess this phenomenon in its three dimensions, a mixed methodology was employed. Firstly, the Maslach Burnout Inventory was administered to a sample of 52 individuals divided into two groups: teachers involved in tutorial activities and teachers who were not. Secondly, three interviews were conducted to gather the teachers' impressions. The results obtained reveal a significant relationship between the level of Burnout and the role of tutoring in teachers, with the workload and emotional demands of tutoring affecting the teachers' emotional well-being. Despite the findings, further studies addressing this topic are needed to develop intervention measures that help prevent Burnout and enhance teachers’ well-being.
