Abstract: Based on an auto-ethnographic account, the text presents an analysis of the impact of non-normative bodies, their main causes and effects, as well as their relationship with the social imaginary of disability. The central question articulated in the text is not about these bodies but about the reasons for the social malaise that they activate. To address this issue, we present the contributions of the Crip Theory on the side of the Queer Theory and the critical studies of disability. The strong criticism of capacitism of the former opens up a greater centrality for the body and the understanding of bodily differences as a political and community foundation. In continuity, educational work goes beyond the issues of identity and sexual orientation, opening itself to a radical interest in the body as a whole and consequently on vulnerability, expiration and illness.
