Abstract: Thermolabile drugs, those sensitive to temperature fluctuations, may lose effectiveness if stored improperly, leading to an increase in side effects. Due to existing evidence of inadequate drug storage, this work designs and implements a system for the decentralized control and management of thermolabile drugs. Stemming from the concept of an ongoing project that records parameters such as temperature, this study proposes a decentralization of the system using blockchain technology, aiming to enhance data integrity, traceability, and user engagement. The document explains that the proposal distinguishes between various actors such as pharmacists, users, and sensors, each responsible for specific functions in the system’s proper operation. Pharmacists can register new users or drugs in the system, and assign which sensor will monitor a drug, while sensors can only periodically record temperatures, and users can access specific data. Notifications will be sent to the respective user when a drug becomes non-dispensable.
