Abstract: This work covers the creation and study of the fundamental parts of a commercial 3D platform video game, designed for players attracted by narrative genres of Science-Fiction and Adventure and that also poses a challenge to overcome them. The title of the game is “B2 Type”, with a subtitle, “The Way Of The Solitary Android”, this will serve as an invitation to seek original solutions from the perspective of a work of author and the use of the current technological context that allows the development of video games. independently. Analysis methodologies are applied to the design of video games, such as the MDE model (mechanics, dynamics and aesthetics), dimensions of the ludofictional world and the aspects of the I3 model (information, interaction and immersion) that offer added value to the product are investigated. . The evolution of the platform genre is studied, as well as the current games in the industry, which will serve as a reference to create a new product. Level design methods are applied that present a challenge to the player and a design plan for user experiences and interfaces that promote the accessibility and usability of the final product. The results of the studies will be materialized in a prototype, focusing attention on the first stages of the game, where they will be able to appreciate the proposed mechanics and dynamics, overcome a limited number of challenges in a level design close to the final product, the development of the aesthetics, story presentation, and interaction with user interface elements.
