Abstract: This project is included in the scope of the decentralized citizen identity to facilitate administrative processes in the context of smart cities. The paper analyzes the use of blockchain, a decentralized database and application, to use the same platform for storing and processing data. Throughout this document, the current situation of smart cities will be analyzed, and how the blockchain technology could be used to register, validate, and check data in the fields of industry, transport, agriculture, medicine and education, ensuring the traceability, integrity, and anonymity. As a result of this analysis, a prototype of a decentralized application will be proposed in the fields of medicine and education. This app will manage data such as prescriptions and titles, the academic title will be represented as NFT to visulize it in a wallet.
