Abstract: The absence of women and diversity in general in teams that develop devices and applications has direct consequences on the results of technological innovation and on society, as it is based on what Criado Pérez (2019) calls the approach of “one size for men”. The Guide for mainstreaming gender in university teaching of Multimedia Engineering offers proposals, examples of good practices, teaching resources and consultation tools to incorporate the gender perspective in the training of developers, allowing students to identify the social impact of their designs on gender and the effects of their decisions on the experience of users.
