La profesión del periodismo con la irrupción de la inteligencia artificial: Diagnóstico, desafíos y soluciones aplicadas al periodismo

Abstract

Con la finalidad de analizar la nueva realidad social surgida con la introducción de la inteligencia artificial en la profesión del periodismo, el presente trabajo de investigación propone analizar y discutir sus potencialidades, carencias y desafíos. ¿Debe impulsarse un nuevo marco regulatorio para el uso de la IA? ¿Están en riesgo los principios que deben regir la actividad periodística o la labor de los profesionales de la información? Mediante el análisis de la legislación actual, la doctrina y el testimonio de profesionales se intenta dar respuesta a esta y otras cuestiones que, por razones de actualidad de la temática analizada, todavía no se han resuelto. Este trabajo tiene por objeto ampliar la doctrina existente y establecer un marco común para futuras investigaciones.

In order to analyze the new social reality that has arisen with the introduction of artificial intelligence in the profession of journalism, this research paper proposes to analyze and discuss its potentialities, shortcomings and challenges. Should a new legal framework for the use of AI be promoted? Are the principles that should govern journalistic activity or the work of information professionals at risk? Through the analysis of current law, doctrine and the testimony of professionals, this research paper’s purpose pretends to answer this and other questions that, due to the topicality of the analyzed subject matter, have not yet been resolved. The purpose of this work is to expand the existing doctrine and establish a common framework for future research.
