Abstract: Some of the large manufacturers in the frozen dough sector use robots for the storage, service and management of products in freezer rooms. These robots only store and serve pallets of boxes of the same product type, so they are only of use when the customer is a large-scale consumer, such as a distributor or regional office, but not a small business, such as a restaurant or a bakery, which are also potential customers of the manufacturer. Therefore, the problem occurs when it comes to serving customers who have storage problems and who are obliged to place orders which, in all, do not make up anywhere near a pallet. Based on this, the idea is to design a system, using the object orientation (O-O) technique, that manages a set of robots which, as well as storing and managing a freezer room, are able to serve orders making a selection of boxes of specific products, i.e. those requested by the customer who has placed an order by boxes and not by pallets. For reasons of organization and stocking, these robots must be independent from each other, i.e. they must work in an independent room to that of the robots that work by pallets (at present this work is done by workers working in an independent room from that of the robots).
