Title: Activitats assistides amb animals amb un enfocament de benefici mutu : Projecte Vincles, on gossos abandonats, infants i adolescents amb necessitats específiques en surten beneficiats

Abstract: This paper shows the research work carried out to detect the effects of animal assisted activities (AAA) aimed at children and adolescent with government guardianship. This (AAA) is performed by the Protectora d'Animals de Mataró (SPAM) through the Projecte Vincles and Fundació Daina, and has the peculiarity to achieve the benefit also in the animal involved. The main objective of the research is to identify the improvements in humans participants in self-esteem, expression of feelings, empathy, responsibility, communication, and relationships; in canine participants: socialization and in quality of life.
