Title: Una visión sobre Alejandro Magno: identidad y alteridad

Abstract: This study intends to be an analysis on the vision of Alexander the Great in the field of alterity, and his change of perspective in relation to his new subjects. In the fourth century BC, our character consciously tried to assimilate under his reign, peacefully, all the identity sensitivities that were part of his new empire. The historical sources appear, but not exclusively, as the tools to be used to understand their decision, which neutralized the Hellenic identity construction that considered the Achaemenian Persians as Barbarians by antonomasia.
