Title: Modelo para la evaluación de la dimensión de desarrollo sostenible a nivel institucional basado en la Agenda 2030
Author: Barrera Arrestegui, Luis
Tutor: Garzón Castrillón, Ana
Abstract: This study proposes a model for the evaluation of the sustainable development dimension at the institutional level that integrates the principles of the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations Organization into a set of 44 standards or criteria to be used for evaluation purposes of an institution of higher education in its internal and external scopes, either for accreditation purposes or as a seal of quality. Product of the documental study, it was observed that in the scope of the evaluation and management of quality in higher education there is no or no similar proposal has been found, since the selected evaluation models do not explicitly evaluate the actions of sustainable development and none has been based on the 2030 Agenda; Therefore, in the short or medium term, institutions that guarantee the quality of higher education will need a model that focuses on the evaluation of sustainable development management. This study concludes that there is a need to include the dimension of sustainable development in the institutional assessment of quality and that the 2030 Agenda should be a central axis in higher education proposals.
