The data were collected during the 2014-2017 period at the Cognitive NeuroLab (cognitiveneurolab.org, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, UOC) as part of the "Cognitive enhancement by means of TMS and video game training: synergistic effects" doctoral project founded by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.

Description of the variables: 


Participant: 	Participant's identification number
Age:		Participant's age
Gender:		Participant's gender (0=female, 1=male)
TMS:		TMS stimulation group (active iTBS or Sham iTBS)
Exp_VGP: 	Video game experience during childhood (yes or no, based on interview)
Stars:		Total amount of stars (goals) achieved in the video game training
Attempts:	Total amount of attempts (i.e. lives consumed) in the video game 
Perf:		Performance in the VG training (stars/attempts)
Time_Attempt:	Average time (in seconds) per attempt
VGskill:	Measure of the participant's video gaming skills through alternative vieogame
Mot:		Participant's motivation before video game session
Fun:		Participant's fun after video game session
Fru:		Participant's frustration after video game session
SRT:		Simple Reaction Time
DRT:		Direction choice Reaction Time
CRT:		Color choice Reaction Time
RavSc:		Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices score
RavRT:		Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices response time of correct responses
