Abstract: This paper proposes a novel visualization of an academic degree curriculum based on the information about its competences and subjects. The proposed visualization places the subjects closer or further from each other, depending on their shared or non-shared competences. In addition, the resulting graphic shows different clusters, formed by groups of subjects with more common competences. We have applied this visualization to the Multimedia degree and to the Computing Engineering degree of the UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, known in English as Open University of Catalonia).
