Abstract: The purpose of this essay is to find out, on an introspective level, the causes that drive employers to not respect the norms that rule temporary causal hiring. The chronification of illegal temporality evidences the need to identify the factors that explain this behavior. From behavioral law and economics approach, the study makes an analysis of the biases and cognitive limitations that affect employers' decisions in this field. This paper proposes, as a lege ferenda, alternative normative formulations that, in hypothesis, could help to reduce illegal temporary contracts.
