Prueba de concepto Azure Monitor

Abstract

La evolución tecnológica de las aplicaciones informáticas y las infraestructuras TIC sobre las que se asientan dificultan a los departamentos TIC de la organizaciones en su misión de mantener y gestionar el correcto funcionamiento de las aplicaciones y las infraestructuras. En especial en aquellas infraestructuras que se alojan en la Nube. Las herramientas denominadas Application Performance Monitor (APM), ayudan a diagnosticar los problemas de rendimiento que aparecen en las aplicaciones, así como encontrar los cuellos de botella que pueda aparecer en los sistemas que sustentan la aplicación, e incluso poder actuar de forma proactiva antes que el usuario pueda sufrir alguna degradación. Este Trabajo Final de Grado pretende ofrecer una visión de una de la herramientas APM proporcionada por Microsoft en su solución Azure, denominada Azure Monitor, con el objetivo de conocer si puede ser usada por una organización que dispone dos entornos totalmente diferenciados hoy en día, un entorno en la nube Azure donde reside su página web y que podrá albergar en el futuro algún servicio de los que ofrece, y otro entorno on-site donde residen el resto de los servicios.

This Final Grade Work aims to provide an insight into one of the APM tools provided by Microsoft in its Azure solution, called Azure Monitor, in order to know if it can be used by an organization that has two fully differentiated today, an Azure cloud environment where your website resides and that will be able to host some service in the future from those it offers, and another on-site environment where the rest of the services reside.

L'evolució tecnològica d'aplicacions informàtiques i de les infraestructures TIC, pot dificultar als departaments TIC de les organitzacions el manteniment i el correcte funcionament de les aplicacions i de les infraestructures. Especialment en aquelles infraestructures que s'allotgen al núvol. Les eines Application Performance Monitor (APM) permeten diagnosticar els problemes de rendiment. Aquest Treball Final de Grau pretén oferir una visió d'una de les eines APM que proporciona Microsoft: Monitor Azure, amb l'objectiu de conèixer si pot utilitzar-se a una organització que tingui 2 entorns totalment diferenciats: l'entorn al núvol Azure on resideix la seva pàgina web i que pot albergar al futur algun servei dels que s'ofereixen, i un altre lloc in situ on es troben la resta dels serveis.
