Abstract: Open data had acquired great importance as an instrument that enhances transparency and better governance in Public Administrations. Regarding justice, it's found that, in countries where access to public data is possible, citizens increase their confidence, by identifying it as more transparent, effective and efficient. In addition, access to open data can facilitate the use of alternative to Courts, such as mediation, diminishing litigation. This process, however, still seems distant in Spain, which has only made initial attempts, essentially computerization, but without beginning to map out a strategy that could build an open-data-based justice. This change of model may face difficulties, due to the attachment of legal operators to the traditional justice model, and from the management point of view, with the reorganization of processes and assignment of roles. Therefore, this work aims to draw a road map to advance a model of justice administration based on open data, identifying the elements necessary to achieve this objective.
