Abstract: The Catalan Federation of Social Volunteering (FCVS), under the well-known brand of Voluntaris.cat, is a recognised platform promoting and recognising social volunteering in Catalonia. Officially registered in the Approved Entities Registry in 1989, the institution represents a non-profit organisation joining over 339 social non-profits from many domains: childcare, youth, poverty, elderly people, homelessness, social exclusion, gender, etc. The Third Sector, formed by a huge range of associations, foundations, cooperatives and other non-profit legally constituted, is one of the bridges of democracy in Catalonia in the achivement of a more inclusive, human and equitative society for all. In this sense, non-profits have found in new techologies a new path of communicating, an emerging chance to inform, educate and raise awareness among their target over the challenges they face and also answer their organizational missions. Voluntaris.cat, that has representatives along the four regions of Catalonia (Barcelona, Tarragona, Girona and Lleida), has the opportunity within its role of federation to create an internal communications plan that join the promotion of activities, reports, campaigns, events and important dates, as well as connecting the non-profits working face-to-face with underseved communities, within the voluntary domain. In this sense, the goal of The Catalan Federation of Social Volunteering is to give services to non-profit members with a huge range of resources, including education, insurance, community service, healthcare, communications, etc. In this work, therefore, an intern communications plan is presented througout a critical analysis of the organisation, supported by academical references from the field of intern communications and Third Sector. The main goal is announcing a professional project that could be applied within the organisation following a strategy, tactics, actions, calendar and selected avaluation. Nonetheless, the current work represents the first intern communications plan of FCVS, in celebration of its 30's.
