Title: Globalización y cultura. Una visión sobre la diversidad cultural en tiempos de globalización
Author: Ginés Ordoñez, Iván
Tutor: Braga de Melo Fadigas, Amanda
Abstract: The research is focused on investigating a subject that I consider to be very topical from different points of view: globalisation. In this context, as Esther Kravzov mentions in her article entitled Globalization and Cultural Identity, we are facing a new dynamic, which is fundamental for the human being of the 21st century. This challenge is similar to that of the great explorers of the 15th century when, on landing on American soil, they looked at each other wondering what to do with the diversity of the clans, tribes and peoples discovered, as well as their cultural expressions with which they had to live. In this line of argument, the phenomenon of globalization and cultural identities outlines a series of advantages and disadvantages that we consider fundamental. We will try to define whether this is a positive or, rather, a negative process.
