Abstract: Research study that tries to answer the following questions: Did Goya's view of the feminine universe, and what he captures in his paintings, correspond to the social reality of women of his time? It is said that the 18th century was the century of women, but is this really true? Was it the century of women or the century of certain women? Through two parallel itineraries, literature on the one hand and the plastic arts on the other, the nature of this century will be explored. Comparison of documentary analysis and iconographic data will perhaps be able to provide us with answers.
