Abstract: | A Violet View is an own personal and intimate project. It is a visual novel that tours the history of feminism with the aim to make the player meditate about the kinds of oppression towards the women and people from other collectives and how those have shaped the capitalist patriarchal society throughout history, and for a further comprehension about the abuses against all these people. From this own branded product on, it has been possible to be conscious about the assumed role a woman has to perform in this society and how she is judged if she decides not to follow that role, regardless of her motives. Furthermore, it is possible to learn how to include the difference and to question heteronormativity. A person is not born educated nor taught. Oneself is the one who has the power to change the ways how to see the world and how to relate with other people. It has not left me indifferent. And you? |
