Abstract: Proposal of improvement of the mobile app for the Mobility and Transport Department at the Government of Andorra (Departament de Mobilitat). The present master's thesis seeks to document, design, and implement certain upgrades to the mobile app of the Mobility and Transport Department at the Government of Andorra. The ultimate aim of these upgrades is to place the app as the main source and centre of information for transport in the Principality of Andorra. Specifically, the upgrades are meant to allow the user to navigate the app while driving and provide them with recommendations given the user is in an area affected by traffic delay. Furthermore, the present work seeks to gather extra data on the way transport users are circulating on the roads. Namely, the upgrades applied to the programme are meant to gather data on users¿ itineraries and potential recurrent traffic congestion. The data gathering is meant to be used by the traffic centre in order to take decisions to improve the traffic situation in the country. The methodology used is a streamlined User-centered Design. Each new functionality has been applied in different cycles and new functions have not been tested until the previous has been approved by the Department, tested uniformly, and documented. As a result of the present work, a new update for the app is expected on both App Store and Google Play.
