Abstract: Software tools for simulation of photovoltaic wind-solar systems are presented today as the best option to design, size and predict energy production and system performance. In this TFM the Windnavigator, PVGIS and PVsyst tools are analyzed in the design and simulation of a photovoltaic wind-solar system for the electricity supply of an isolated house. The operation of the different elements of the installation is studied and the necessary calculations are made to size the system. The technical characteristics of the different elements existing in the market are analyzed and the most suitable ones for the system are selected. The operation of the system is analyzed when performing the simulation with the software tools and the results are compared with the calculations made. This TFM demonstrates that with the software tools the behavior that the system will have throughout the year can be observed, thus being able to carry out the necessary adjustments in the design phase to achieve the desired performance and production objectives. It has also been possible to determine the advantages obtained by using an MPPT regulator compared to a PWM regulator and the operation of the solar tracking systems has been studied, comparing it with that of its equivalent system with fixed modules.
