Abstract: The idea for this Research Paper arises from the union of two key elements: a personal passion for tourism offices and an inquiring curiosity about 5G technology. Every time I make a trip to any tourist destination, be it national or international, my first visit is always to its tourist office. For me it is like a ritual, they are a personal weakness, the starting point where everything begins and even more an end in itself (attractive) than a means to discover key points of the destination I have just arrived at. With this in mind, my mind starts to wander, looks to the future, imagines it and asks itself several questions: what applications could 5G have in tourist offices? how could 5G encourage travellers to visit tourist offices? could 5G have the opposite effect to that intended and cause travellers to stop visiting tourist offices? This research work will answer these questions through an objective, critical and realistic view, prioritising synthesis to analyse the project clearly and directly.
