Title: Análisis de la viabilidad del voto electrónico en España

Abstract: This study analyzes electoral processes, technological use in elections, reviews the concept of "electronic voting" and previous experiences, investigates the technical requirements of electronic voting, electoral costs, the legal framework and the behavior of Spanish society in the voting. The objective of the study is to determine the feasibility of implementing an electronic voting system that allows improving citizen participation in voting, reducing electoral costs and moving towards true participatory democracy. Furthermore, the study determines which factor is responsible for the fact that electronic voting is not yet implemented in Spain.
