Abstract: The Canary Islands are a territory geographically distant from the Iberian Peninsula and with specific conditions that sometimes causes that the authors often do not focus their attention on the Archipelago in their research. That is why this project will expose the digital journalism of the Canary Islands compared to the rest of Spain, briefly reviewing its beginnings, defining what the Canary Islands digital press consumer is like and what is the position of the canarian newspapers in comparison to those of the rest of the country, in order to find out their traffic and audience of them, as well as to determine if there is a plurality of press in the Canary Islands.
