Abstract: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is one of the main causes of death and disability worldwide, which is usually accompanied by motor, sensory, cognitive, emotional and behavioral symptoms. The present work evaluates and proposes an intervention plan to a fictitious patient who, after a traffic accident, was affected by a moderate-severe TBI with diffuse axonal damage and small frontal-temporal focal injuries. The patient's neuropsychological profile reflects cognitive disturbances in attention, processing speed, learning, executive functions, and social cognition. At the behavioral level, the patient shows anosognosia, irritability, infantilism, self-centeredness, and low tolerance for frustration. The main objective of the intervention is to reduce the patient's cognitive and behavioral deficiencies, in order to obtain maximum functional, family and social performance. The intervention will consist of three weekly sessions of 45 minutes, over a period of 6 months, which can be extended. We will include psychoeducation sessions for both the patient and the family, cognitive stimulation, compensatory strategies and behavioral management techniques. Once the intervention is over, an improvement in deficit awareness, disturbances, autonomy and relationship management is expected.
