Resumen : To perform the analysis of a structural model of a software system (like a class diagram), it is often necessary to compute sample valid instantiations (like object diagrams), for example, for testing purposes. Classifying terms (CTs) provide a technique for improving diversity in the instantiation generation process. CTs have been proposed and studied in the context of UML class diagrams annotated with OCL invariants. Nevertheless, they can also be employed in other declarative specification languages. This paper explores the feasibility of using CTs in the context of Alloy. The discussion considers both the Alloy notation and the integration with the Alloy Analyzer.
