| Abstract: | This research attempts to identify and analyze the manifestations, icons and strategies used by the political authority in Morocco to highlight their public and social presence in urban spaces of cities, in particular Tetuan. The use of certain symbols and the occupation or appropriation of urban spaces on the part of the political authorities (principally monarchy and government) may possibly represent a strategy of public presence and, explicitly or implicitly, transmits certain values and messages related to power. |
