Abstract: This study aims to configure an image of the Phoenician people in a cultural key as heir to their history and particular context: the roots prior to the arrival of the Peoples of the Sea as well as the Egyptian influence from the south as the main vectors of change and transformation. Giving the appropriate framework for the cultural emergence that was the Phoenician role in the Mediterranean in ancient times.
