Abstract: This project is about the discipline of Human-Computer Interaction, and how to make the interaction between users and products as intuitive, satisfactory and useful as possible. The aim is to show that this discipline is necessary to design and develop a quality product, focusing this whole process on a specific type of product, the video games. Because there is currently no standard procedure to follow, different methodologies and theoretical frameworks will be presented in relation to video games design, with the user as the central axis in the design. As a practical part of the project, one of the methodologies previously analyzed with real users will be applied, in order to analyze an existing product, a video game called "Little Nightmares". As we will see, the results of this practical section will show us small improvements that could be applied to this product to make it more intuitive and fur for users. The conclusions drawn from this project indicate that it is necessary to follow a user-centered methodology to design and develop such entertainment products. As a drawback, however, due to the lack of a standard methodology, there are several procedures that can be followed, each of which focuses on different aspects of video games, such as the social component, the focus on new players, and so on, so one methodology or another will have to be chosen depending on the goal being pursued. It should also be clarified that these methodologies are usually based on statistical studies of user behaviour, so testing the product with a sufficient number of users is necessary to draw appropriate conclusions. In addition, it must be clear which user profile we want to target, as there may be different points of view that may be different in terms of product-related aspects.
