Title: Doble simulación de exposición radioeléctrica y simulación de cobertura 5G mediante el software XIRIO online en Puerto del Rosario
Author: Fernandez Santana, Ruben Jose

Abstract: We are currently facing a new standard for mobile communications, which will mean a substantial change in relation to previous generations. Frequency bands not used up to now will be used for mobile communications where data transmission speeds will increase and new services will be included. The reason for using new frequency bands is to avoid saturation of the current bands, where there is not enough bandwidth to provide the required high bit rates. This work deals with the calculation, representation and simulation of a 5G mobile telephone network both at the level of radioelectric exposure [1] applying the ITU-T K.52 standard and at the level of radioelectric coverage using the simulation tool XIRIO Online [2] focusing on the 3.6 - 3.8 GHz band using MIMO antennas, carrying out a study of the propagation models included in the 3GPP 38.901 standard. This project aims to achieve the coverage, probability of congestion and traffic objectives in five (5) existing stations in the town of Puerto del Rosario through coverage calculations, interference analysis and cell load, provided by the simulation tool XIRIO Online.
