Abstract: | In senior citizens resident, several approach exits, within the are of cognitive stimulation, according to desired aim. One of them is the reminiscence therapy, which is thinking or speaking about life events in order to sharing memories and reflecting on the past, for the stimulation of autobiographical episodic memory. This is achieved through viewing of triggers, which evoke feelings and bring these memories to their minds. These triggers can be sounds, photos, music, objects, etc. Technology is a powerful and liable channel to store and show properly theseaudiovisual material. Therefore these stimuli bring back forgotten memories to users. Due to all that, the aim of my project is to develop a PWA, Progressive Web Aplication, that implements the content to work the reminiscence placing technology at the service of cognitive stimulation in senior citizens resident. The methodology used in this project is the life cycle in waterfall, that is divided into different stages; analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenancefocusing in user-centred design, given the particular and specific profile of these users. To sump up, the product is a PWA adapted to elderly people in order to work optimally the reminiscence therapy through viewing of multimedia content. |
