Abstract

La Cuestión Turística es un libro de entrevistas a referentes internacionales de las ciencias sociales y el turismo donde se analizan muchos de los elementos problemáticos que hoy atraviesan al desarrollo turístico global. Elaborado durante tres años, este trabajo se sitúa en el marco del debate social que recorre multitud de ciudades del sur de Europa acerca de los efectos de la turistificación. Reúne diferentes voces con enfoques teóricos y políticos también diversos, pero con una misma vocación crítica y cuestionadora del orden social, económico y político del turismo.

"La Cuestion Turística" és un llibre d'entrevistes a referents internacionals de les ciències socials i el turisme on s'analitzen molts dels elements problemàtics que avui travessen a el desenvolupament turístic global. Elaborat durant tres anys, aquest treball se situa en el marc de l'debat social que recorre multitud de ciutats de sud d'Europa sobre els efectes de la turistificació. Reuneix diferents veus amb enfocaments teòrics i polítics també diversos, però amb una mateixa vocació crítica i qüestionadora de l'ordre social, econòmic i polític de l'turisme.

"La Cuestion Turística" is a book of interviews with international leaders in the social sciences and tourism, where many of the problematic elements that are currently affecting global tourism development are analyzed. Prepared over three years, this work is situated within the framework of the social debate that runs through many cities in southern Europe about the effects of touristification. It brings together different voices with different theoretical and political approaches, but with the same critical and questioning vocation of the social, economic and political order of tourism.
