Abstract: The Social Economy or Social and Solidarity Economy refers to the relations of production and distribution that are organized by the principle of solidarity and do not always pursue profit. It is a sector of the economy that would be halfway between the private sector and the public sector. In this work I study a practical case of Social Economy, in particular I focus on the Albacete company Recuperación y Reciclaje R que R Cooperative Society of Castilla la Mancha that is dedicated to activities such as: Destruction of confidential documentation "without trace", Emptying and Cleaning of premises, Collection of furniture, Collection of paper and cardboard, Collection of used batteries and Training Center "Asociación R Que R" -among others-. In this company I analyze issues such as the company's mission, its values and CSR policy, its specific environment, its competitive structure, the opportunities and threats that companies in this sector frame, the main actors and relationships that make up the company's ecosystem , its value chain, its main resources and capabilities, its competitive advantage, its SWOT analysis, its growth since it was founded, the possible competitive strategies it could develop and the strategic options it should select to achieve its strategic objectives. As for numerical calculations, I use the tools SABI (System of Analysis of Iberian Balances) and Axesor (whose data I include in the corresponding Annex) to extract the accounting data necessary to draw conclusions and with them I have carried out the following studies: Executive summary of the company, Equity and financial analysis, Analysis of the Economic and Financial Structure, Analysis of the Working Capital, Analysis of Profitability, Evolution of the No. of Employees, Distribution of personnel by sex, Statement of changes in Equity, Analysis of the State of Cash Flows and Comparative Sectorial Balance -among others-. After all this study we can get an idea of the scope of the Social Economy through our specific study company, see its profitability and the good they do in a society like the current one, in need of human and material resources and in continuous change.
