Abstract: This Final Project as a final assignment to obtain my Major in Business is focused on the development of a business plan based on the creation of a residential facility for elderly and / or disabled in the town of Inca, in the autonomous community of Balearic Islands. The motivation of this project lies in the fact that it is one of the sectors, the nursing homes, which is undergoing further growth. It is an industry that is expanding due to the aging of the population is suffering not only Spain but throughout Europe with various social changes that have transformed the lifestyle of our society. Arguably, today's nursing homes are in vogue due to the evolution of the concept of "residence" in society produced. The residences have gone from being considered "homes" for the most vulnerable people considered "hotels" with health care. Our residence El caliu de la llar bases its activity on providing services of a residential facility having the best facilities and specialized team. To describe and develop this business opportunity, a Business Plan that examines the technical, economic and financial feasibility is made, and explains all procedures and strategies needed to turn this opportunity into a business project. First, the Business Plan performs a thorough analysis of the environment in order to define the current state of the industry, summarized in the PESTEL analysis. It also examines the internal situation of the company to define their strengths and weaknesses against the competition as well as the opportunities and threats facing the company in the sector in which it operates is facing. Then the Business Plan defines a Plan of Operations and Human Resources detailing all operations of the company and the personnel needed to carry them out, describing in detail the tasks and schedules of each employee. Next, the Marketing Plan defines the target audience of El caliu de la llar and guides for the implementation of strategic measures to get themselves known and capture the market share necessary to obtain benefits. Finally, through the Financial Plan, it is considered that the project is viable and future prospects are very successful for the company.
