Abstract: This document is the summary of the final project for a computer science degree. Nowadays the healthcare industry is under a key digital transformation process to improve their supply chain and basically provide better outcomes to the patients. To achieve this transformation, it is crucial to implement health information systems that perfectly fits with organization objectives and ensure continuous workflow. An accurate selection process of information systems would improve the implementation and project management with less disadvantages or risks. With the analysis of the healthcare data models and the integration standards it is defined a recommended compliance logic do determine if an information system is accurate for the organization. The compliance logic relies on the integration abilities of the information systems, comparing all related elements of the interoperability process. Finally, this document includes the design of tool that implements the compliance logic defined and other specific validations that are relevant for the organization. The design includes the scope of the tool, GUI prototype, and the data model definition, all this information will be useful for a future development phase.
