Abstract: | This Final Degree Project (TFG) aims to develop a web platform for geotechnical calculations for the Geotechnical Engineering Area of the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Alicante. The idea is to allow students of the Civil Engineering Degree to create projects and perform specific calculations related to the ground. Specifically, the aim is to design an extendable platform that incorporates from the start a calculation of the allowable bearing pressure used for surface foundations in rock according to the Guide to Foundations in Road Works and another calculation of the potential for soil liquefaction according to Eurocode 8 (EC-8) and the Earthquake Resistant Construction Standard (NCSE-02). For the development of the backend application, Java 8 will be used as the main language together with the Spring Boot framework and the Hibernate ORM. For the frontend part, HTML, CSS and Javascript technologies will be used from the Vue.js and Bootstrap frameworks. |
