Scientific communication has become the absolute protagonist in the field of the information. Society, and media, have found in the scientific studies the hope to get out of this crisis. However, to explain the scientific advances to the public we need to be able to translate scientific contents to a language that everyone understands. And this the hallmark of quality scientific communication. An analysis of the communicative characteristics of some published science-related news in Spain will help us to fight against phenomena such as infodemic, information overload or sensationalism.
