Abstract: The Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) are more and more present both in daily life and in the diferent industries suach as aeronautics, naval, logistics, etc. The raise of GNSS¿s usage, mainly due to geolocation, implies also the increment of signal interference devices, mainly with the mission of avoiding location. In the aeronautic field, the GNSS is used to increase the the performances in terms of capacity, cost efficiency, safety, environment and interoperability, mainly in landing and takeoff procedures. The possible interferences in the GNSS signal that could receive the aircraft in these procedures may result in a serious severe problem. The detection and location of interferences are key steps in order to allow to remove them and ensure safety of the aircrafts. This work studies the possible interferences that can affect to GNSS and how to detect them. Moreover, due to the routes performed by the aircrafts may be well-known (if the called aeronautical procedures are implemented), the interferences could be located, since interference needs to be measured from known positions in order to be able to locate it. Subsequently, a detailed analysis of the localization technique will be presented from simulations performed in Matlab, with different scenarios applicable to real situations. Finally, the feasibility of the technique will be checked from the discussion of the results obtained and the best parameters of the simulation will be discussed to obtain the best results, as well as future improvements of the tool.
