Abstract: This project is based on the design of an application for academic management for children from 6 to 8 years old, based on the fact that at the moment the educational institutions of the city of Ibarra, Ecuador, make use of platforms are based or Moodle that are very complex to handle for children and also in mobile devices must be accessed from a browser, arguing that families who have more than two children don¿t have the economic possibilities to by more than one computer. To address the research several UX techniques have been used, first a desk research and benchmarking was done, then interviews were conducted with a group of real users, and then move to the definition and ideation, where proto personas and user journey cards were developed, resulting in the list of requirements on which the proposal is based. With the above, we proceeded with the development of the interactive prototype, which has gone through different phases: information architecture, sketch, wireframes and high fidelity. The prototype was evaluated with the participation of real users (parents and children) and also with specialists in digital product design. The results of the evaluation phase were successful, as it was evident that the process generated a product that responded to the needs raised in the first stage of the research.
