Title: Llambordes Stolpersteine per recuperar de l'oblit als republicans suriencs deportats a Mauthausen i altres camps: Una manera simbòlica de fer-los tornar al seu veïnat

Abstract: Stolpersteine is a project born to pay tribute to each victim of National Socialism by placing a plaque with their data engraved in front of the homes where they used to live in freedom before his deportation to the Nazi camps. In Catalonia, the placement of the Stolpersteine is done in memory of those men and women who, once the Spanish Civil War ended, had to go into exile in France to avoid reprisals, and sometime later with the participation of the Spanish government, were deported to Nazi extermination camps where almost of them died. This event is intended to restore the right to memory and dignity that was denied to them during the dictatorship. The present work aims to learn about the Stolpersteine project and the biographies of the fourteen republicans from Súria and their itineraries reaching Mauthausen and other camps, to know of that story that remains unknown to many.
