Title: Perquè no es tracta la mort i el dol a les aules? Recerca de les raons per les quals no es treballa una pedagogia de la mort a educació infantil

Abstract: Nowadays seems impossible to conceive school without emotional education. Even so, there are still emotions, wrongly considered as negative, that are not embraced in classrooms, such as those awakened by grief or death. Due to its almost inexistence and lack of acceptance in the educational system, it was decided to investigate why the pedagogy of death is not included in preschool, going beyond the problem caused for lack of teacher training. This has been investigated through a 5-point Likert-type questionnaire sent online to thirty-six active teachers in the Valencian Community. Based on the information collected, it was found that teachers are not only conditioned for the lack of training, but also because of the possible reactions and opinions of the families, and because they do not know any workmates who have worked on it.
