Abstract: The aim of this research is to test the influence of emotional education, specifically, intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence and student academic performance. The current situation shows the importance of educating in emotions by developing EI and emotional skills to respond to the needs arising from the emotional illiteracy of society. The study is based on a mixed methodology with an ex-post-facto design. The sample is selected from a non-probabilistic sample. This is a descriptive and cross-sectional study; it consists of three phases: one of contact with the participating groups, another of application of the measure, an online ad hoc questionnaire, and one of reading and analysis of the results. The analytical strategy varies depending on the type of question. With the calculation of statistics, a descriptive analysis of the results is made to finally carry out a discussion and conclusion, compare them with other studies carried out and check if they meet the objective of this research. The results obtained show the relationship between emotional education and students' academic performance.
